What You’ll Do

• Provide clinical leadership and expert advice to implement strategic service improvement initiatives.
• Analyze clinical pathways and patient flow to identify safety risks and areas for operational enhancement.
• Lead and facilitate multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based improvement interventions.
• Coach and support managers and clinical teams in continuous improvement methodologies.
• Promote integration of clinical governance and quality improvement principles in daily operations.
• Utilize clinical and operational data to monitor performance and evaluate health interventions.
• Coordinate innovation projects and report on the impact of initiatives on patient care and resource use.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Medical Practitioner after HPCSA registration for South African qualified employees.
• A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical workflows, patient pathways, and clinical governance frameworks.
• Proven experience in implementing and facilitating improvement initiatives within a hospital setting.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex clinical systems and inform decision-making.
