What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical leadership and expert advice to implement strategic service improvement initiatives.
- Analyze clinical pathways and patient flow to identify safety risks and areas for operational enhancement.
- Lead and facilitate multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based improvement interventions.
- Coach and support managers and clinical teams in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Promote integration of clinical governance and quality improvement principles in daily operations.
- Utilize clinical and operational data to monitor performance and evaluate health interventions.
- Coordinate innovation projects and report on the impact of initiatives on patient care and resource use.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Medical Practitioner after HPCSA registration for South African qualified employees.
- A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical workflows, patient pathways, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Proven experience in implementing and facilitating improvement initiatives within a hospital setting.
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex clinical systems and inform decision-making.
