What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized engineering services in water and sanitation in accordance with South African policies and regulations.
- Design and implement new systems to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Lead advanced research initiatives and apply specialized knowledge to enhance water and sanitation services.
- Review and develop municipal sector master plans to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery and public health outcomes.
What You’ll Need
- A master’s degree in civil engineering (M Eng / MSc Eng) specializing in Water and Sanitation or an equivalent qualification at NQF level 9 recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of ten years of post-qualification experience in the field of water and sanitation.
- Compulsory registration as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
- Strong competencies in Knowledge Management, Service Delivery Innovation, and Problem Solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage projects effectively.
