What You’ll Do
- Provide environmental enforcement services to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conduct awareness campaigns to educate the community about environmental regulations.
- Manage administrative tasks related to environmental compliance and enforcement.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote sustainable practices in the district.
- Monitor environmental activities and report on compliance status.
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate and a 4-year degree or NQF Level 8 qualification in Natural Sciences, Environmental Management, Nature Conservation, Environmental Law, or a related field.
- Knowledge of NEMA and its subsidiary acts, as well as the Natural Scientific Professions Act and the Public Service Act.
- Computer literacy and strong communication and writing skills.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential.
- Experience in environmental compliance is advantageous, though not mandatory.
