What You’ll Do

• Provide environmental enforcement services to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Conduct awareness campaigns to educate the community about environmental regulations.
• Manage administrative tasks related to environmental compliance and enforcement.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote sustainable practices in the district.
• Monitor environmental activities and report on compliance status.

What You’ll Need

• A National Senior Certificate and a 4-year degree or NQF Level 8 qualification in Natural Sciences, Environmental Management, Nature Conservation, Environmental Law, or a related field.
• Knowledge of NEMA and its subsidiary acts, as well as the Natural Scientific Professions Act and the Public Service Act.
• Computer literacy and strong communication and writing skills.
• A valid driver’s licence is essential.
• Experience in environmental compliance is advantageous, though not mandatory.
