What You’ll Do

  • Liaise with water stakeholders, including farmers, local communities, and government representatives.
  • Provide support and advice on institutional development for water resource management.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of Catchment Forms and Water User Associations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultations for tariff determinations and the development of the Catchment Management Strategy.
  • Engage with external institutions to foster collaborative water management initiatives.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior/Grade 12 certificate.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Community Development, Development Studies, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of water-related legislation, policies, and practices.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in community or rural development and interaction with government sectors.
  • Strong conflict management and project problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
