What You’ll Do

  • Provide social work services focused on the care and protection of vulnerable individuals, groups, families, and communities.
  • Offer individual and group counselling to address various social issues.

  • Implement recommendations and provide ongoing support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of social work interventions, processes, and outcomes.
  • Engage in social work research and contribute to policy development.
  • Perform necessary administrative functions related to the role.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor of Social Work recognized by SAQA.
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
  • Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of human behavior and social systems, with skills to promote well-being.
  • Competence in programme and project management.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and people management skills.
  • Proficient in computer literacy.
