What You’ll Do

  • Provide social work services focusing on the care, protection, and development of vulnerable individuals and groups.
  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address emotional and social issues.
  • Perform advanced and specialized assessments to identify conditions and recommend suitable interventions.
  • Implement and monitor intervention strategies to support clients effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of social work interventions, processes, and outcomes.
  • Engage in social work research and contribute to policy development.
  • Fulfill all administrative duties associated with the role.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor of Social Work recognized by SAQA.
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
  • A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of human behavior and social systems.
  • Skills in programme and project management, as well as information and knowledge management.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy.
