What You’ll Do

• Assist and accompany patients, transporting them with wheelchairs, trolleys, or beds from various points within the hospital.
• Support medical staff by shifting medical equipment as required.
• Collect and clean wheelchairs, trolleys, and blood hampers to ensure hygiene and readiness for use.
• Assist with the respectful handling and removal of bodies when necessary.
• Provide support to ambulatory and walking patients, ensuring their comfort and needs are met.
• Collaborate with supervisors and assist with various administrative duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Relevant experience in a health-related environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to handle corpses with respect and dignity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks such as lifting patients onto beds, trolleys, and wheelchairs.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
