What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient clinical services in Paediatric Gastroenterology.
• Conduct clinical teaching and mentoring of medical students and junior doctors.
• Manage administrative tasks related to patient care and departmental functions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Stay abreast of advancements in paediatric gastroenterology and participate in research initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Paediatrics.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Paediatrics.
• For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration.
• For Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Medical Specialist.
• For Grade 3: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a Medical Specialist.
• A valid (code B/EB) driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated interest in Paediatric Gastroenterology and research.
