What You’ll Do

• Supervise, mentor, and coach social workers and social auxiliary workers to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant norms and standards in social work practices.
• Coordinate and manage various social welfare programmes and initiatives.
• Provide psychosocial support and counselling to clients in need.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of non-profit organisations within the community.
• Oversee administrative and educational functions related to social work services.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 certificate and an appropriate Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work recognized by SAQA.
• Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Worker.
• A minimum of seven years of post-registration experience in social work.
• A valid motor vehicle driver’s licence.
• Strong computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient report writing and management skills.
• Knowledge of supervision models and social work service delivery systems.
