What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of curriculum delivery and education policies.
- Design and oversee education programs that support schools in implementing the National Curriculum Policy framework.
- Coordinate curriculum management and ensure effective provisioning of examination and assessment services.
- Facilitate Continuous Professional Teacher Development to enhance educator capabilities.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Head of Department and other oversight bodies.
- Initiate systems to integrate information technology into curriculum delivery in schools.
- Manage financial, human, and physical resources effectively to support educational initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- A post-graduate qualification in Education (NQF Level 8) recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of eight years’ experience in a senior management role.
- SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) Certificate upon appointment.
- Valid driver’s license (except for individuals with disabilities).
- Strong competencies in strategic capability, leadership, and people management.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and facilitation skills.
- Sound knowledge of legislative frameworks related to curriculum management and delivery.
- Proven ability in planning, organizing, and project management.
