What You’ll Do

• Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of curriculum delivery and education policies.
• Design and oversee education programs that support schools in implementing the National Curriculum Policy framework.
• Coordinate curriculum management and ensure effective provisioning of examination and assessment services.
• Facilitate Continuous Professional Teacher Development to enhance educator capabilities.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Head of Department and other oversight bodies.
• Initiate systems to integrate information technology into curriculum delivery in schools.
• Manage financial, human, and physical resources effectively to support educational initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• A post-graduate qualification in Education (NQF Level 8) recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of eight years’ experience in a senior management role.
• SMS Pre-Entry (Nyukela) Certificate upon appointment.
• Valid driver’s license (except for individuals with disabilities).
• Strong competencies in strategic capability, leadership, and people management.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and facilitation skills.
• Sound knowledge of legislative frameworks related to curriculum management and delivery.
• Proven ability in planning, organizing, and project management.
