What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement the MNCWH plan in alignment with district and project strategic goals.
• Coordinate and promote MNCWH and Phila Mntwana Programme activities.
• Facilitate in-service training for healthcare staff involved in maternal and child health.
• Monitor and evaluate health indicators related to maternal and child health practices.
• Prepare reports for the District Management Team reflecting the findings and progress of health initiatives.
• Manage resources allocated to the MNCWH and Phila Mntwana project effectively.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality healthcare delivery.
• Oversee the implementation of maternal and child health care services in hospitals.
• Conduct perinatal mortality meetings to assess and improve health services.

What You’ll Need

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
• An appropriate B Degree or National Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum of 7 years nursing experience post-registration with SANC as a professional nurse.
• Registration as a Midwife/Accoucheur with SANC.
• Valid Driver’s License (C1).
• Diploma in advanced Midwifery and neonatal nursing is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Project management and financial management skills.
• Understanding of public health sector challenges and relevant policies.
