What You’ll Do
- Implement standard operating procedures and supply chain policies in the bids unit.
- Provide advisory services and secretariat support to specification and bid evaluation committee meetings.
- Prepare and manage bid documentation, ensuring compliance with SCM prescripts.
- Organize and attend briefing sessions, and manage the opening and closing of tenders.
- Conduct compliance checks on bid proposals and prepare evaluation reports.
- Present bid evaluation reports to the Bid Adjudication Committee (BAC).
- Maintain the bid register and provide weekly progress reports on projects.
- Supervise staff and oversee financial and human resource administration within the unit.
What You’ll Need
- A Degree or National Diploma in Purchasing Management, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Logistics, or Business Management.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Demand Management and Acquisition Management.
- Knowledge of public finance management, Treasury regulations, and procurement policies.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and strong administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
- A valid driver’s license.
