What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and monitor the recruitment and selection process to ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Facilitate the processing and approval of service benefits for employees.
  • Provide guidance on the termination of service procedures at the provincial level.
  • Establish and implement HR policies to maintain an effective workforce.
  • Supervise and manage resources including human resources, finance, and equipment/assets within the division.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management or Public Management at NQF Level 6, as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of two years of functional experience within a Human Resource Management environment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation including the Public Finance Management Act, Public Service Regulations, Labour Relations Act, and Employment Equity Act.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, people management, problem-solving, communication, report writing, and computer literacy.
