What You’ll Do
- Execute the mandate of the Office of the Family Advocate.
- Perform all functions and duties of the Senior Family Advocate, including oversight of office operations.
- Manage performance information and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective and efficient service delivery at various service points.
- Conduct complex enquiries and manage performance evaluations.
- Mentor and coach team members across all occupational classes.
- Implement the Risk Management Plan and ensure compliance with audit standards.
- Report directly to the Principal Family Advocate regarding office performance and service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- An NQF level 7 qualification in Law / LLB recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of appropriate post-qualification litigation experience.
- Admission as an Advocate and the right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in research, investigation, presentation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Excellent attention to detail and skills in diversity management.
- Ability in dispute and conflict resolution, operational, and people management.
- Basic computer literacy.
