What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate recruitment and selection processes for various positions within the department
  • Prepare detailed schedules, score sheets, and manage applications from the Z83 application system
  • Supply statistics related to employment equity and ensure compliance with HR policies
  • Coordinate shortlisting and interview processes, drafting appointment submissions for approval
  • Provide advisory services to line managers on recruitment and selection best practices
  • Conduct personal suitability checks and ensure adherence to the OSD Framework during appointments
  • Monitor and evaluate all HR processes, providing training and support to staff
  • Lead investigations into HR-related issues and offer management solutions
  • Manage the recruitment and selection database effectively

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma at NQF level 6 in Human Resources Management or a relevant qualification
  • Three to four years of experience in recruitment and selection and OSD appointment procedures
  • Proven ability to develop and manage data tracking systems and report on recruitment progress
  • Strong knowledge of HR legislation, policies, and planning practices
  • Understanding of equal opportunities and affirmative action guidelines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict management skills
