What You’ll Do

  • Offer high-level technical advice to senior management, including the MEC and HOD.
  • Manage projects related to human resources, ensuring they align with departmental goals.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes human resource development initiatives.
  • Coordinate performance management and development systems within the department.
  • Lead change management strategies to navigate public service transformation effectively.
  • Consult with stakeholders on human resource matters to facilitate informed decision-making.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Public Management (NQF Level 7).
  • A minimum of five years of senior management experience in a human resources environment.
  • A valid unendorsed Code B driver’s license (Code 08).
  • Knowledge of the legislative framework regulating public service HR practices and employee wellness policies.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team effectively.
