What You’ll Do

• Supervise the security functions carried out by Security Officers to ensure compliance with departmental policies.
• Perform essential administrative duties related to security operations.
• Monitor and maintain effective security systems to safeguard departmental assets.
• Provide support during investigations, ensuring that incidents are documented and addressed promptly.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies as necessary to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place.

What You’ll Need

• A grade 10 qualification.
• Completion of a basic Security Officer’s training course with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Proof of registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
• Knowledge of access control procedures and security protocols related to equipment and store content.
• Familiarity with the authority of a Security Officer and emergency procedures.
