What You’ll Do
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to law enforcement officials in the region.
- Coordinate stakeholder relations with other government departments and law enforcement agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate regional operational performance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop standardized operational plans and facilitate a collaborative environment between provincial and local governments.
- Conduct research and analysis of traffic law enforcement best practices to enhance service delivery.
- Manage human resources processes, including budget oversight and resource allocation.
- Develop provincial policies in relation to traffic operations and public transport.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant tertiary qualification (3-year Diploma/Degree in Traffic/Management/Law – NQF 6 or higher).
- A Basic Traffic Officer’s Diploma and registration as a Traffic Officer.
- 3-5 years of management experience in a traffic law enforcement field.
- 7-10 years of working experience in traffic law enforcement.
- A valid driving license (minimum code B) and no criminal record.
- Strong knowledge of public transport and traffic law enforcement policies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
