What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough examinations of deeds and documents to determine registrability.
- Advise conveyancers on compliance issues and assist in resolving non-compliance matters.
- Compile quality assurance reports and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Train and mentor subordinates in deed examination and related processes.
- Consult with clients regarding deeds and documents, providing necessary guidance.
- Monitor and manage the distribution of deeds, ensuring accurate processing.
- Analyze discrepancies in reports and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and procedural manuals.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Law, Deeds Registration Law, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the examination of deeds and documents.
- Strong understanding of deeds registration processes and property law.
- Proficient in computer skills and report writing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and supervise personnel effectively.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance.
