What You’ll Do

• Conduct engaging lectures and classes for students in the agricultural field.
• Develop and implement innovative academic curricula that meet industry standards.
• Supervise and support students and junior staff in their academic and professional development.
• Provide a comprehensive student affairs service, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Perform administrative duties related to the institution’s academic functions.
• Stay updated with the latest developments, policies, and technologies in agriculture.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 certificate along with a relevant four-year BSc degree or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of six years of relevant experience in the agricultural field.
• Registration with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) or a similar recognized body is essential.
• A valid driver’s license (not required for candidates with disabilities).
• Strong computer skills and a good understanding of agriculture-related technologies.
• Excellent supervisory, management, and presentation skills to effectively train and lead students.
