What You’ll Do
- Conduct engaging lectures and classes for students in the agricultural field.
- Develop and implement innovative academic curricula that meet industry standards.
- Supervise and support students and junior staff in their academic and professional development.
- Provide a comprehensive student affairs service, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Perform administrative duties related to the institution’s academic functions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments, policies, and technologies in agriculture.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate along with a relevant four-year BSc degree or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience in the agricultural field.
- Registration with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) or a similar recognized body is essential.
- A valid driver’s license (not required for candidates with disabilities).
- Strong computer skills and a good understanding of agriculture-related technologies.
- Excellent supervisory, management, and presentation skills to effectively train and lead students.
