What You’ll Do
- Manage the procurement process for new government vehicles and subsidised transport.
- Oversee registration and licensing of state-owned vehicles.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance of the departmental fleet.
- Handle the disposal of obsolete vehicles in line with regulations.
- Process fuel payment claims for various schemes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and provide training on transport manuals and policies to relevant personnel.
- Liaise with district offices to address and resolve transport-related issues.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate paired with a National Diploma or Undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Transport Management, Public Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in transport management.
- Strong knowledge of transport circulars, the Public Finance Management Act, and related regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A valid driver’s license and a commitment to ethical conduct and accountability.
