What You’ll Do
- Render effective and efficient service in inventory and warehouse management.
- Liaise with end users regarding queries related to inventory and supply chain matters.
- Manage inventory and consumable stock levels while assisting in bi-annual stock taking processes.
- Perform all warehouse management functions to ensure the availability of stock.
- Assist and supervise disposal management functions for expired or redundant inventory and consumables.
- Provide guidance and support to administrative officers under your supervision.
- Manage the performance and development of your team members.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in warehouse or stores management, preferably in a hospital or medical environment.
- Proven supervisory experience in a similar role.
- A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good knowledge of inventory management procedures and electronic materials management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Familiarity with Syspro or other warehouse enterprise software and the ability to apply the Disciplinary code.
- Proficient computer literacy.
