What You’ll Do
- Control documentation within the Chief Directorate, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Prepare for Chief Directorate MANCO meetings and manage the mail register
- Process telephone queries and administer human resources functions
- Prepare submissions for vacant posts and assist in arranging interview sessions
- Maintain the leave register and ensure all leave applications are captured accurately
- Administer the Directorate’s budget and compile expenditure reports
- Organize meetings, workshops, and official functions, including travel arrangements
- Manage the procurement of stationery and computer consumables for the office
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 certificate (NQF4) and a National Diploma (NQF 6) in Management or related fields
- At least three years of experience in administration
- Knowledge of departmental procedures regarding finances, budgeting, and procurement
- Understanding of relevant prescripts and the legislative framework governing the Public Service
- Proficiency in the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, and the LOGIS system
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team
- A valid driver’s license
