What You’ll Do

  • Oversee data capturing and general office administration related to water use registration.
  • Plan and manage workflows to ensure efficient operations.
  • Authorize transactions in the WARMS system.
  • Implement and interpret procedures in accordance with the National Water Act.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures for data capture.
  • Provide training and support on water use registration processes.
  • Produce statistical reports to inform management decisions.
  • Maintain file management systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Supervise staff and uphold departmental policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma or Degree in Administration or a relevant qualification.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in data management and quality control.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Valid and unexpired driver’s license.
  • Experience with WARMS is essential.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Practical experience in a client service environment, including letter and report writing.
  • Knowledge of the National Water Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle spatial data effectively.
