About the Role
The Department of Health is looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a Senior Administrative Officer: Information Management, based in the scenic Cape Winelands District Office. What You’ll Do
- Foster partnerships with stakeholders to implement health information policies and systems
- Support data management and analysis for sub-districts and external partners
- Conduct audits and assessments to provide constructive feedback
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations for data-driven decision-making
- Manage and supervise information management staff, including performance management and training
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
- Experience in an Information Management environment in a supervisory role
- A valid Driver’s license (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel across the district
- Advanced computer literacy, especially with MS 365 and public health information systems
- Strong analytical skills, with a solid understanding of monitoring and evaluation processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for data visualization and presentation
- Leadership skills with a focus on problem-solving and team development
