What You’ll Do

  • Provide effective support to the Assistant Director in managing the budgetary function.
  • Assist in budget, revenue, and expenditure monitoring and control.
  • Contribute to financial accounting tasks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the management of human resources within the component.
  • Process monthly transfer payments and prepare financial reports.
  • Administer interdepartmental claims efficiently.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a 3-Year National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
  • Appropriate experience in Financial Management and Financial Accounting.
  • Experience in expenditure control and completion of Budget Management Information systems (BMIs).
  • Supervisory experience is essential.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Strong organizational, managerial, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of PFMA and Treasury regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
