What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive financial management services, including budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Compile and manage the Demand Management Plan and Medium Term Expenditure Framework.
  • Oversee the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate budgeting, audit, and financial functions.
  • Manage and maintain asset registers and ensure the safekeeping of departmental assets.
  • Supervise and develop staff through performance management and support.
  • Handle queries from both internal and external clients regarding supply chain matters.
  • Administer general office support services and ensure effective communication within the department.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, or a relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of Public Service Regulations, financial procedures, and Treasury Regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to work additional hours when needed.
