What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive financial management services, ensuring compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- Facilitate the preparation of the annual budget and compile the Demand Management Plan (DMP).
- Oversee the effective and economical utilization of funds and manage the procurement of goods and services.
- Coordinate budgeting, auditing, and financial functions while verifying payments related to Transport and Subsistence (T&S).
- Handle queries from internal and external clients regarding supply chain matters and maintain a well-organized asset register.
- Supervise and develop administrative staff, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist in the development and review of operational plans and compile various submissions and memoranda.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative environment.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential.
- Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, financial procedures, and Treasury Regulations.
- Strong computer literacy and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and a commitment to teamwork, with a willingness to work extra hours when needed.
