What You’ll Do
- Monitor and manage the administration of Basic Conditions of Service Benefits, including housing allowances and state guarantees.
- Supervise and ensure the correct processing of Injury on Duty (IOD) claims and reports.
- Oversee the administration of long service recognition and awards.
- Manage salary packages for Middle and Senior Management Services, ensuring accurate updates and compliance with regulations.
- Facilitate the processing of leave applications and monitor compliance with leave policies.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to GPAA employees, fostering a knowledgeable and competent workforce.
- Prepare and submit reports on various HR metrics and compliance checks.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the Human Resource environment, particularly in Basic Conditions, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the PERSAL system.
- Strong knowledge of Public Service Prescripts, Human Resources Administration, and Labour Relations.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all levels.
- A commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all administrative tasks.
