What You’ll Do

• Identify and implement integrated community development initiatives in collaboration with local stakeholders.
• Liaise with relevant role players to establish partnerships that ensure the sustainability of community development efforts.
• Support and assist communities with administrative tasks related to development activities.
• Stay updated on new trends and developments in community development to enhance service delivery.
• Provide support in the facilitation of infrastructure development and social services.
• Conduct hygiene awareness campaigns in schools and communities to promote better health practices.
• Assist the sanitation unit with the procurement of promotional materials to support community initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• A National Diploma in Human Sciences.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in community development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
• A valid, unexpired driver’s license.
• Knowledge of community development practices and an understanding of social systems.
• Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic financial management knowledge and computer literacy.
