What You’ll Do
- Identify and implement integrated community development initiatives in collaboration with local stakeholders.
- Liaise with relevant role players to establish partnerships that ensure the sustainability of community development efforts.
- Support and assist communities with administrative tasks related to development activities.
- Stay updated on new trends and developments in community development to enhance service delivery.
- Provide support in the facilitation of infrastructure development and social services.
- Conduct hygiene awareness campaigns in schools and communities to promote better health practices.
- Assist the sanitation unit with the procurement of promotional materials to support community initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma in Human Sciences.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in community development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
- A valid, unexpired driver’s license.
- Knowledge of community development practices and an understanding of social systems.
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic financial management knowledge and computer literacy.
