What You’ll Do

  • Develop and update strategic and annual plans for Internal Audit services based on departmental risk assessments.
  • Manage the creation and upkeep of methodologies, policies, and procedure manuals for Internal Audit.
  • Oversee the implementation of IT Audit projects, ensuring adherence to established policies and methodologies.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for improving governance, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Maintain positive relationships with client management and various stakeholders.
  • Manage team resources effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • A 3-year NQF level 7 qualification or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics, or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 3 years of junior management level experience in IT auditing.
  • Membership in the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIA SA) or Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) is advantageous.
  • A valid Driver’s License (assistance available for people with disabilities).
  • Strong understanding of Treasury Regulations, PFMA, and IT Auditing techniques, among other relevant competencies.
