About the Role
The Government Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA) is seeking a Senior Administrative Officer for Administration Support, based in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Implement and manage the knowledge management database and associated processes.
- Draft awareness plans to educate staff on new trends and knowledge within the organization.
- Facilitate knowledge management practices, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Compile reports to analyze the usage and impacts of knowledge articles on service delivery.
- Coordinate and administer electronic document repositories and information systems.
- Organize capacity-building sessions and compile research reports for strategic decision-making.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the unit, including filing, correspondence, and logistical matters.
- Order supplies and maintain office equipment for the smooth operation of the unit.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration, Information Management, Knowledge Management, Social Sciences, or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Knowledge Management, Administration, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of organizational learning systems and data categorization.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and relevant legislation, including the PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills, with a customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, along with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
