What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the development of performance audit notification letters and planning.
  • Conduct preliminary surveys and gather background information for audits.
  • Facilitate interview sessions to prepare for performance audits.
  • Develop and implement audit programs, testing procedures, and examining results.
  • Draft audit queries and compile findings in accordance with performance audit methodology.
  • Follow up on previous audit findings and assess management action plans.
  • Assist in preparing audit reports and maintaining a findings register for the Audit Committee.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Internal Audit or Accounting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Internal Audit environment, with specific experience in Performance Audit and Performance Information.
  • Strong understanding of Performance Audit processes, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a commitment to upholding standards.
