What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Director.
  • Manage the Director’s diary, scheduling meetings, workshops, and appointments.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the Director.
  • Prepare, format, and quality-check correspondence, reports, submissions, agendas, and minutes.
  • Manage records and filing systems, both manual and electronic, ensuring document safekeeping.
  • Handle correspondence and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide reception and telephone support, including visitor management.
  • Assist with report compilation, data capturing, and maintenance of logs and registers.
  • Support basic financial and personnel administrative tasks, including procurement and invoice processing.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) Level 4.
  • A diploma (NQF Level 6) or bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Management Assistant is an advantage.
  • A minimum of one to two years’ relevant experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Proven experience in diary management, meeting coordination, and general office administration.
  • Knowledge of records management and office administration procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
