What You’ll Do

  • Recommend trade test registration leaves and manage the associated processes.
  • Ensure compliant candidates are registered for trade tests and confirm test dates.
  • Oversee the performance management and development system (PMDS) related to trade test registration.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operational functions.
  • Prepare reports and documents related to trade test administration.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma in Public Management or a related qualification; a degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of three years of administrative experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Skills Development Act 1998, Trade Test Regulations, and Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL).
  • Familiarity with the National Artisan Moderation Body (NAMB) and the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
