What You’ll Do

  • Maintain an organized diary for the Section Head, coordinating all meetings and appointments effectively.
  • Book venues for meetings based on attendee numbers and ensure that refreshments are arranged accordingly.
  • Handle routine correspondence and type various documents, including reports and memorandums.
  • Administer a bring-forward system to ensure important tasks and deadlines are met.
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements, including organizing documentation for overseas trips.
  • Submit claims for accommodation and expenditures following business trips.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4 recognized by SAQA).
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • General computer literacy skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage extended hours when necessary.
  • Demonstrated competency in acting independently, professionally, and with credibility.
