What You’ll Do
- Perform various administrative functions to support the operations of the department
- Maintain and manage diary appointments and coordinate travel arrangements
- Control and organize e-mails and files received for efficient filing
- Compile minutes during meetings to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Liaise professionally with relevant stakeholders to foster collaboration
- Assist in general administration related to the core functions of the component or station
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions of the Secretary role
- Proficiency in at least English and one other official language
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification
- Relevant courses in administration or related fields will be advantageous
- General computer literacy skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities
- A customer-focused attitude and willingness to work under pressure
