What You’ll Do

  • Provide clerical support services in the acquisition of movable assets.
  • Participate in the physical verification of movable assets to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the administrative processes related to the disposal of movable assets.
  • Manage stock discrepancies and facilitate the disposal process effectively.
  • Ensure the provision of movable assets to users in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding the management and compliance of the asset register.
  • Update and maintain records of movable assets as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to process movable asset orders efficiently.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
  • No prior experience is required, making this suitable for motivated individuals looking to start their careers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
  • Familiarity with the Asset Management Framework and financial systems such as LOGIS.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a focus on administration.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting and budgeting principles.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to adapt work schedules as needed.
