What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic and operational direction to the Corporate Management Branch.
  • Manage and coordinate strategic planning and implementation systems.
  • Lead the department’s strategic Information Communications Technology support services.
  • Oversee entity oversight and interface services to support the executive authority.
  • Provide strategic support for Human Resource Management and Development, including Labour Relations and Employee Wellness.
  • Manage the provisioning of legal services and oversee the development and review of departmental policies.
  • Drive service delivery enhancements and transformation programmes.
  • Ensure effective internal controls and risk management practices are in place.
  • Oversee budget management and broader resource allocation for the branch.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum SAQA recognised NQF level 8 qualification.
  • At least 8 years of experience at a senior managerial level, with a strong background in public policy.
  • Proven strategic management and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of government operations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical thinking and strategic governance coordination skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, report-writing, and communication abilities.
  • High level of computer literacy and familiarity with financial, human resource, and project management.
  • Valid driver’s license; candidates with disabilities preventing driving will still be considered.
  • Completion of the SMS pre-entry certificate prior to appointment.
