What You’ll Do
- Oversee and manage the development of legislative frameworks, policies, and operational guidelines for community development.
- Report on the implementation and effectiveness of programmes aimed at community mobilisation and poverty alleviation.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance for non-profit organisations’ registration and operations.
- Monitor the progress of the Population Policy implementation at all government levels.
- Manage the branch’s budget, human resources, and performance according to established regulations.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification at NQF Level 8 in Developmental Studies, Social Sciences, Economic Development, or Community Development as recognised by SAQA.
- At least 8 years of experience at a senior management level in a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of the South African Constitution and various development policies, including the RDP and National Development Plan.
- Exceptional skills in strategic leadership, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining integrity and creativity.
