What You’ll Do

  • Implement security policies in alignment with national directives and relevant acts.
  • Monitor potential threats and conduct risk analyses to enhance security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with firearm regulations and manage the deployment of security operations.
  • Conduct safety inspections and safeguard departmental assets.
  • Liaise with security agencies and coordinate security training and awareness programs.
  • Supervise security personnel and evaluate their performance continuously.
  • Provide operational support regarding security activities, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Manage contracts with private security service providers and ensure adherence to security protocols.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant NQF level 4 or Senior/Grade 12 Certificate.
  • National Diploma in Security Management is an advantage.
  • Valid Security Grade A PSIRA Certificate.
  • Valid SAPS Firearm Competency for Rifle, Shotgun, and Pistol is an advantage.
  • Three years’ supervisory experience in a security environment.
  • Valid unexpired driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of security legislation and emergency procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with analytical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicts effectively.
