What You’ll Do

  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks within the court system
  • Register and allocate case numbers to pleadings and court documents
  • Ensure files are served on all parties involved in a case
  • Draw up and maintain files for litigants and attorneys
  • Update and manage records of service proofs and case management
  • Handle inquiries from litigants and the public, providing necessary assistance
  • Monitor and organize court files systematically
  • Maintain compliance with filing, archiving, and telephone prescripts
  • Support the administrative registrar with various tasks
  • Prepare and submit leave forms to HR

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF level four (4)
  • A valid driver’s license will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of registry processes and public service legislative frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team
