What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic radiology services across Tygerberg Hospital and associated training hospitals.
• Produce accurate and timely radiological reports to facilitate effective patient care.
• Participate in onsite after-hours duties as per the call roster to ensure continuous patient support.
• Engage in educational activities, tutorials, and assessments as part of the registrar training program.
• Assist in training and mentoring medical students, nursing staff, and radiographers.
• Develop critical skills necessary for a successful career in radiology.
• Involve yourself in research and audits pertaining to Radiodiagnosis.

What You’ll Need

• A qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
• Current registration with the HPCSA for Independent Practice.
• A valid Code B/EB driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Required clinical experience since obtaining the MBChB degree, particularly in diagnostic imaging.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills including typing, spreadsheet management, and database usage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
