What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical imaging services across all modalities, ensuring accurate reporting and quality care standards.
- Guide, teach, and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
- Manage resources effectively, including assets and consumables, to optimize service delivery.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives and contribute to the development of radiology services.
- Collaborate with hospital clinicians to enhance patient services and outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, hospital procedures, and policies.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Radiology.
- Valid registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Radiology.
- For Grade 2: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience post-registration.
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience post-registration.
- A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A preferred special interest in musculoskeletal radiology will be advantageous.
