What You’ll Do
- Process default judgments to improve court efficiency and compliance with legal standards
- Determine compliance of pleadings and processes with court rules
- Capture and update the Default Applications Register and relevant data tools
- Conduct taxations by assessing arguments and applying discretion regarding litigation costs
- Finalise opposed and unopposed taxations in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Manage criminal and civil processes to enhance court efficiency
- Analyze statistical data to identify trends and address risk factors
- Respond to queries from the Presidential Hotline and chapter 9 institutions
- Supervise and develop support staff in courtrooms and registrar offices
- Maintain accurate performance information for reporting purposes
What You’ll Need
- An LLB Degree or a four-year Legal qualification at NQF level eight (8) recognized by SAQA
- A minimum of two years of post-graduate legal experience
- Superior Court of litigation experience is advantageous
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong knowledge of registrar’s duties and case flow management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Competency in computer literacy and data management
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Professionalism and a strong work ethic
