What You’ll Do

• Study case dockets and determine the institution of criminal proceedings.
• Draft charge sheets and represent the State in all regional courts.
• Lead witnesses and conduct cross-examinations during trials.
• Address the court on matters of conviction and sentencing.
• Perform general administrative duties related to the office.
• Collaborate with partners in the criminal justice system to promote community involvement.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct, policies, and directives of the NPA.

What You’ll Need

• An LLB degree or an appropriate legal qualification for serving prosecutors seeking promotion.
• At least four years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Strong competency in independent and professional conduct.
• Proven ability in prosecuting and guiding investigations.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Good project management capabilities.
• A valid driver’s license.
