What You’ll Do

  • Provide psychosocial support to employees, addressing their mental health needs
  • Coordinate Employee Health and Wellness activities to promote a supportive workplace
  • Organize and facilitate Employee Health and Wellness Committee meetings
  • Develop, review, and implement policies and guidelines for employee wellness
  • Compile and disseminate information for Healthy Lifestyle awareness campaigns
  • Manage daily administration tasks for the wellness unit

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Social Work or Psychology recognized by SAQA
  • Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions or the Health Professions Council of South Africa
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Employee Health and Wellness environment
  • Strong supervisory skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office, along with strong report writing and facilitation skills
