What You’ll Do

• Manage and treat dental patients with a focus on quality oral health care.
• Provide a range of dental services, including restorations, fillings, and extractions.
• Ensure appropriate patient referrals when necessary.
• Implement health policies and guidelines related to infection control and waste management.
• Conduct oral health education sessions for patients and community groups.
• Participate in community outreach programs and oral health initiatives.
• Supervise junior staff members and ensure proper staff performance monitoring.
• Compile daily statistics and submit monthly reports as required.
• Identify serious oral diseases and abnormalities for timely intervention.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) / Standard 10.
• Bachelor of Dental Therapy.
• Registration certificate with HPCSA as a Dental Therapist.
• Current registration with HPCSA.
• Valid driver’s licence, Code EB or C1.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and maintain proper case management.
• Knowledge of therapeutic and preventive dental processes.
• Supervisory and team-building skills.
• Experience in community health initiatives is advantageous.
