What You’ll Do

• Provide quality primary health care services, including health education and interventions.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Implement infection control standards to ensure safe healthcare delivery.
• Conduct clinical audits and develop quality improvement plans.
• Manage patient records accurately, both written and electronic.
• Engage in community outreach to promote health awareness and self-care.
• Contribute to maintaining the standards and practices of the Integrated Multi Stakeholder Health Promotion Strategy.
• Support and facilitate the realization of ideal clinic and OHSC programs.
• Ensure effective use of healthcare resources and maintain required documentation.

What You’ll Need

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12) and a Diploma or Degree in General Nursing Science and Midwifery.
• Registration with SANC as a General Nurse, with Midwifery and Primary Health Care qualifications.
• Minimum of 4 years’ nursing experience for Grade 1, or 14 years for Grade 2, with appropriate PHC experience.
• Knowledge of nursing legislation, Batho Pele principles, and patient rights.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and foster good interpersonal relationships.
• Competence in planning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
