What You’ll Do

  • Implement nursing plans that focus on quality patient care and clinical practice
  • Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, including deliveries
  • Manage and monitor Maternal, Child, and Women’s Health programmes
  • Conduct physical assessments, diagnose, and treat common health issues as per guidelines
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure efficient data capturing
  • Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and community health workers
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 service delivery
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols to reduce risk of litigation
  • Contribute to achieving Ideal Clinic Realisation Status through quality improvements

What You’ll Need

  • Matric Certificate or Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
  • Diploma or Degree in General Nursing Science and Midwifery, enabling registration with SANC as a General Nurse
  • Current SANC receipt
  • Passion for community health and patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
